Walther UIT-WAR Model 50301 22 LR

Can someone tell me more about this rifle? I can't seem to find anything on the web that provides some history, specs or pictures. Thanks.

There isn't a lot of Walther historical information on the web. UIT can refer to a many different Walther .22 target rifles, especially standard rifles. For instance, there is a UIT Match, UIT Match Universal, etc. The "WAR 50301" isn't a very commonly used designation. Do you have a picture of the rifle? If you can post a picture, it can probably be identified.

I think that rifle is for running target.
