I am a beginner.
I had shot with a straight pistol/arm/should/neck line alignment.
I looked at mirror, and found my head tilting back in this alignment.
Is it poor position to cant pistol away from this line up? I found canting pistol away to right allow my neck to cant to left, away from the arm/shoulder line, but feel more comfortable for my neck, AND LOOKS BETTER in my mirror.
Am I off the line here?
Do you cant your pistol away from arm/shoulder line?

It's difficult to say over the internet without seeing your position. However as a general rule I'd suggest head and neck orientation are the more important, primarily from an injury prevention perspective. Canting the gun is fine, but try and do so in a consistent manner i.e. such that the amount of can't doesn't change from shot to shot or through the course of a match.

From your description, I'm wondering if you are using the correct terminology here. Canting refers to a twisting of the pistol about the bore axis. A slight counterclockwise twist (which would be considered to the left) would bring your head to the left. Are you meaning that you shift your pistol to the right in your hand to allow for head movement to the left?
Both of the above are part of finding your optimum grip/stance, which should include sights that are aligned as they hit the aiming area and a comfortable as well as consistent (repeatable) stance.
