FWB 56 and a red dot sight

Post by dalekeith »

I am thinking about purchasing a FWB P56. I have not seen the pistol. I am interested to see if it is drilled and tapped for a scope mount. I would like to shoot it with a red dot scope. I have noted the Steyr LP50 seems to have the top rail set for a scope mount. Is the same true of the FWB?
Thank you, Dale

As far as I know, none of them is factory equipped to mount a scope.

FYI, the FWB 56 has been replaced by a new model the 58 derived from the latest single shot 44.

Apart from ones that have been modified I think you'll find that it's only LP50s supplied through Pilkingtons that have the shroud for Red Dot mounting.
