New Morini 162EI - Hooray!

Post by K38 »

I just received my new Morini162 EI today. I purchased it from our host and it is a very nice piece of work. I also got a Hill pump, that thing is built like a tank! They have improved the way the foot fastens to the pump — no more screws just a single screw on cap. It is a bit of a work out to pump up the cylinder from dead empty, but not too bad. The 162EI is very nicely finished and the trigger is a dream, very easy to adjust. About the only thing I would take issue with is the plastic (Carbon Fiber?) trigger guard, it seems a bid flimsy for such a high quality pistol. The XL Morini Grips fit my big mitt perfectly I doubt I will have to do a thing to them. Now all I need to do is get back to practicing!!!

Happy Days!

Dwight, one thing i have done to improve the trigger on my 162 is to add an additional grub screw in the rear of the trigger block to remove a lot of the after travel of the trigger. I personally don't like a lot of after travel on my triggers.

Regards
