Hi folks, I just registered today. Looks like a great forum. I was just hired as the local high school rifle team coach. I have many years of military firearms experince, and competitive air rifle. However, I'm trying to get as knowledgable as possible going into this year.
We have a new state of the art 5 lane indoor range. I have 20 Anschutz 1903's to work with. Our course of fire is 10 bullseyes on the target and 15 minute time restriction. I have jackets, matts, slings and gloves. This is not a well established program.
Any recommendations as far as training, equipment, etc would be greatly appreciated. Good contacts for purchase are needed as well. We are a winter sport, but I plan to start non-mandatory training in September. I will hold try outas in November.

Where are you located?

I am on a high school team. We use Gloves, mats, slings, stands andjackets and I can put three rounds through the same hole. Depending on rule of your leauge there may be restrictions on boots. My coach has coached on an olympic level i might be able to se if i can get you a way to talk to him
