Anyone know if this parameter applies to the whole grip area or just around the trigger finger (where index finger and thumb wrap around)?

I was told by someone that it's only for the trigger finger. That doesn't really make sense, as the Rink site states "for those with disproportionately long fingers". Which leads me to believe that it will put all fingers a little less "around the grip".

Anyone ever have the opportunity to compare? I had a Large Rink grip (normal thickness) on a Benelli and it fit like a glove, other than that it could've been a tad larger in diameter. I'd go for an XL on my new gun, but they don't make it, only a Large. Hence my quetion ...

I'll leave an e-mail with Rink, but all the gripmakers seem to be slow to respond. So I figured I'd see what anyone here knows.

I used to have a Rink thick grip for a Pardini SP. I have fairly long fingers and not what you would describe as a meaty grip. The factory Pardini grip pointed slightly to the side, probably because my fingers wrapped around the front strap too far.

After exchanging e-mails with Rink about it, they recommended the "thick" option. If I recall correctly, Don Nygord sent me a test "thick" grip and a 7 degree grip. Surprisingly enough, the "thick" grip virtually was a perfect fit for my hand, centering the front sight with no modification. I've never had any factory grip do that for me.

The other benefit I found to the Rink grip is the checkering is very sharp. Just the cure I needed for the relatively slick factory grip.

As far as the thick option goes, it seems to me that it applied to the whole grip, from top to bottom.

I use Rink grips with thick parameter (I have two: for LP10 and for CM22M RF).

The reason is that I have long hand/fingers and that with the "normal" grip I had to move the trigger blade too much forward.

With the "thick" option my finger is well positionned on the trigger blade without having to move it too much forward. The rest of shape (size, shape...) of the grip is the same as the "normal".

It is also a 7 degre grip because I am right handed but use my left eye.

The complete parameters are then: right, large, convex, thick, 7 degre.
