Dear friends,

I am an Air Pistol shooter ( 560)
my NAP is 2 or 3 rings below the black edge.
when I do sighting shots, rather than taking few clicks up or down I find the most comfortable place at that movement & continue the shoot.
so some days NAP moves little up or down.
I like to hear your comments..

That sounds like a good approach to me. Ranges vary as does the specific lighting conditions, that means that you will invariably need to move up or down a click or 2. That is exactly the process I adopt - to me the most important aspect is to put the gun where it feels comfortable, and move the point of impact around if required. As an aside, I will also re-adjust mid competition if for any reason shots creep higher or lower, as muscles tire etc.
