Hi folks, my match game is truly oppressed by my anxiety and fear to perform well. (as i know i can do)
My AP match yesterday go down on the initial series, then i was able to understand the mistake, think positive, relax myself, velocize action and let the shoot go all byself, at least the last series. So 50% bad, 50% god.
Toady FP match, (remembering day before lesson) i start aggressively, with positive things, and the initial series go well. Then i start thinking about score, was not able to stop thinking about external things, and with great fatigue i concluded the match. 50% good, 50% bad.
Analized my mental and emotional game the problem is: i wasn't trained to perform good behaviours under pressure. (real pressure, because also when i decide to try to set a new personal best in training, it's more simple to put down anxiety than during match)
So, i'm wondering how to insert drills in my training week.

How i can put it in training? How many times i had to perform a single drills? Repeat it during the same week, or after a while?

Match Pressure? What is match pressure?,; other than a figment of your imagination?
The concept of match pressure is bull shit. It does not exist. Except for what we create in our minds.
How is your life going to change?
Will your family disown you?
Will you be financially ruined?
Will your sex life change?
Will job status or career change?
There are a few of us that are competing for the US Army Marksmanship unit that will answer yes to a couple those questions. For many of us this may well be a hobby that we have committed a lot of time, effort and money to for sure; but nothing will change for us. Hence, what does it matter except for what importance we apply and control.
I am not saying to take matches lightly, but we control our thoughts, attitudes and emotions.

I refuse to mention your title!!!! deal with the thoughts and techniques that produce good shots . the more you concern your self with the occasional bad shot the more of them you will shoot. Stay positive in all thought and emotions and shoot each shot as a seperate match. One good shot helps you shoot another and by telling yourself that you did not shoot the bad one may help you overcone any tendancy to dwell on score. Let the scorers determine the score in the stat office and just keep shooting good shots. Good Shooting Bill Horton

how put specific drills, to train under pressure and to maintain positive feelings, in the normal week training program?
Perform every time a new drill? Try to execute 2-3 times, setting the drills as a goals? Alternate tecnical session with this specific emotional drills?

Training to maintain a positive focus
Great change from the orriginal post. You have obviously been doing sone serious thinking about the issue and have identified the most critical act in competition shooting. Keeping everything positive in your visualition of the shot process and keeping an extremely high level of confidence prior to each shot or string of shots. I believe you will do very well indeed.
