I am sure that I read somewhere (possibly on this forum or Pilkguns site) that the 10m Air Pistol world record is still held from a good number of years ago, by a CO2 powered pistol, .
If so, could someone please post details.
If wrong, please post the right answer!

Thanks David.
Was the gun by any chance CO2 powered, or had they gone over to CA by then?
My recollection is that the record was still held by a CO2 gun and that this has been mentioned a few times in discussions over the relative merits of CO2/CA.

I wasn't at the WCF so cannot be certain. All reports I have read however make me believe that it was CO2.

It just goes to prove that the gun is just a tool; it's the skill of the operator that really makes the difference.

Say...doesn't the same guy hold the 10 Meter AP match(60+10) record also?
I believe he used another CO2 AP; a Steyr LP-1C.

Yes, same guy: 695.1 - 593+102.1 also in 1989 in Munich.

Not the same person,

The US National Pistol Coach is Sergey Luzov

A former Running Target shooter, and a very good one from what I hear.
