Hi all.

I just acquired a Hammerli 280 with the 22 and 32 S&W conversions.

Before I slug the barrel I thought I would ask. Does anyone know the 32S&W long Dia. .312 or .314.

I want to order some lead bullets and see there are two different Dia. I am looking at the Hornady .314. 90gr Hollow base wad cutters.

Slug the barrel, they are all different.

I used to have a FAS603 32S&WL with a .308 barrel (which was what it was designed to have). I would quite happily use either Geco or Lapua HBWC bullets in .312 or .313 and easily get groups within the 10 ring at 25m.

Other guns or bullets may not be as forgiving.

I guess I am going to have to do that to be sure.
