Air cylinder weighting

I have weighted my Hammerli Junior 480 air cylinder with four wrap turns of lead wire. Underneath I placed a wrap of quality electric tape on the bare tank. Then I covered it all with another complete wrap of tape. This was all to increase the nose weight and balance of the gun. The weight and balance is now real close between the Junior cylinder and the K2 milk bottle cylinder with a custom extra weight screwed on the front. Both cylinders by themselves are about 11-12 oz each, weighted. The extra weight is forward. I now have 2 matching in weight cylinders.

Anyone have a caveat about weighting with lead wire? It is solidly fastened with electric tape.

Stick-on wheel weights from a tyre (tire) shop work a treat.

I epoxyed a piece of steel rod underneath the barrel of my K38 and shot it for years. I used black magic marker to blend it into the barrel. My Styer LP1 has 32 hbwc's in the grips to weight the pistol. Anything you do to shoot more comfortably is great. PS ,I keep an old Webster's by my chair.....caveat!....Rob

I've taped quarters to the end of the 480k2 cylinder with band-aids.
