The only direction I have on setting target centers comes from Pilkguns web site which suggest that target centers should be as close to 55 inches in height as is possible.
The one indoor range I have shot at seems to have target height closer to this and lots of flexiblity as to where one places the target.
Are there specific rules on this...I would prefer to set my target centers higher, but want to keep my inhouse range, "competition legal"
Could anyone site the specific ISSF rules or other relevant guidelines.
Target centers...how high?

CMP 3P rules 5.5.4 Prone 19.7in , OH 55in , KN 31.5in .Tghere is a plus and minus, but is only to accomadate the range that can't be exact. 55 is 2 inch range plus or minus

Suggestion to the moderators: perhaps a big fat link to the official rules somewhere in the page header would be a good idea? Not for the purpose of answering questions with "RTFM" but to make it easier for everybody, as questions about various rules appear quite often.
