Hi,
Does anyone know why Anschütz only offer (now) the 2013/2007 systems in an Alu-stock version. I bought a 2013 supermatch (wood-stock) a few years ago and think i need a new barrel, but if there are problems with the 2000 series that are appearing then now could be the time to start thinking about a new rifle. (Been dreaming of a Bleiker for years)

Also, i've been looking lately at the vids on ISSF.TV. Anschütz 2000 systems are noticeable by their absence. Most top shooters seem to be using the 1913 system or other rifles.

I think there is still a wooden stock available for it, if not in the catalogue.

Also I think guys who were winning medals at world championships with their 1913's aren't gonna make the move to the square action 2013 until the barrel on their current rifle gives up the ghost.

Have a look at the world champs in another few years and the 2013's will be starting to make an appearance.
