Ready to buy a rifle BEFORE the first of the year

Post by weatherman »

I need a rifle that is legal for the sporter class 10 meter. MUST have good trigger. I'm tall, right handed, left eye dom. and kind of hard to please but not $1000.00 hard. Around $300-$500 is my price range.

Sporter

If your shooting sporter there is kind of an unwritten rule by the airgun committee that sporter rifles aren't allowed to exceed $500. However, that may have been broken this summer by the NRA accepting the new ARMS rifle for the NRA Junior Airgun Championship.

Note here: The NRA is not a member of the 3-Position Air Rifle Council

Some rifles that are legal in NRA sanctioned matches are NOT LEGAL for 3PARC sanctioned matches (USA Shooting JO's for instance)

You can download the rules off of the CMP website, and on the front cover are the members of the 3PARC.
