I am interested in getting some of these for the high school team I coach. What opinions do you have of these. Also, since these are the junior version, what size shooter do these rifles typically accomodate? Any info greatly appreciated.

Our club bought 4 and they seem to be very good rifles. We have not had any problems with them. I like the P70jr. a little better because the stock is a little easier to adjust. This is important for a rifle that will be used by different people. The P70jr's are not too available anymore so that is not an option. The LG300jr's will probably be too small for most high schoolers but they can be extended. Walther makes a barrel extension that you can install, the butt can be extended and you can add weight. If you can afford them you'd probably do well to buy at least a few full sized rifles. Personally I think it good to have a more than one type of rifle so kids can try and see what fits them best.
I just realized that the CMP is also selling anschutz full sized club rifles. I'd tend to recommend these instead of the Walthers. I did have a little querk with the Walthers at first that we bought that turned out to be nothing but i looked into true warrantee providers in the US and did not find any. Not so with Anschutz.

Have used Walther 300 for 7 years, and have never had problems once we shortened the scuba tank filler tubes. Outstanding rifles for a club situation. Could be used for some juniors, we have several juniors using them now. The junior size can easily be setup for bigger shooters. They are a great rifle, with no problems for out use.
