Funded housing?

Can anyone explain what 'funded housing ' is at the OTC? I read where the top 20 at the nationals plus top 10 juniors and current team members qualify for this.

I beleive it means that USAS covers the cost of lodging (and possibly dining) while at the OTC.

The rooms are two person rooms in what appears to be a former barracks with community showers and laundry.

The dining hall is opemn most of the day and is excellent.

I saw that on the program for the 3-times Air Match at Olympic Training Center 1-2-3-Dec, a very enjoyable match and a great place to stay for 3 or 4 days!!!

the rooms I've stayed in are 3 person rooms

food is GREAT!!!!

I took it to mean that USAS gets to allow the top 20 on their list to bunk for free ($40 per day savings, don't know if its funded by USOC, I hope so, I don't think that is the best use of USAS money) I didn't qualify this year (I would have in 04 :) ) so I ignored that line and sent my check(s)

they are also asking for a $120 deposit on a separate check

see u all there.
