I started shooting a 12lb smallbore rifle and got used to the weight. then I tried to shoot a P700 and found that it felt light. So dos any one know where to get weights or make weights (what is the weight limit by the way?)
Thanks,

The weight limit for precision air rifles I believe is 12.2 lbs (not 2 ounces, a little over three oz). Sporter is 7.5 lbs.
Correct me if i'm wrong anyone, these are just the rules I shot under at the Junior Olympic Precision 3p Champioships by USA Shooting

Hi Guest
There are sliding barrel weights available (from your FWB dealer) but if you require more weight in the butt, do what the German squad shooters do. Fit those sticky backed wheel balance weights (from your local tyre shop) on and around the butt.
If your are a light weight person try to keep the overall weight below 5kg.
ISSF rules state a maximum weight of 5.5kg.
The balance of the rifle is more important than its overall weight, so balance the rifle out with its C of G about 5cm in front of your support hand position.
