Alternative barrel for Steyr LG100

Greetings.
Many questions ahead...
Seen some complaints regarding the original Ansch/steyr barrel, and i can only agree...
Is it the barrel quality in it self that is bad?
Has it gotten better for the 110 model?
I have tried to move the weights and free(?) float it in the front by releasing the grub-screw and tried different ammo, but i still have some flyers...
The barrel is clean.
Maybe the front hole is too small so it doesn´t free-float enough?
Barrel is worn(bought the rifle second-hand)?
Is barrel replacement the way to go?
If so-which make should i go for?
Best regards to you all.
