Is there anybody that could give me more information about Air Strike and any other action Air rifle / pistol events being shot in the USA. Rules shoots etc.

The event you're referring to is actually called the "10 m Air Pistol Five Target Event" by the ISSF, and the associated rules are here:

http://www.issf-shooting.org/rules/engl ... 5_2nd.html

The last time I checked, neither of the 5 shot AP events had been adopted by USAS. I think it would be a great move, on their part, if they added these two courses of fire for us.

We are aware of the 10 m Air Pistol Event and in fact we have imported the pistols. We have also imported the targets from Rika in Austria. We are at present gearing up to get this event off the ground .

However I am looking for information on Airstrike. Shot we think by the Bianchi shooters.

Louis,
The AirStike is an event that we sponsor at the Bianchi Cup. It uses the RIKA traps and Steyr LP50 pistols. The rules are drawn from the above mentioned ISSF rules, with the major exception of allowing the use of two hands to hold the gun because of the poor shooting skills of the average Bianchi Cup particpant.

some photos are here
