Need some advice on my Anschutz rifle

Post by barneyjo »

I have just purchased an Anschutz 22 cal rifle that is marked model 64 silhouette, but it does not look like any of the model 64's I've seen. I am not sure which one I have. I didn't pay much for it - $300 is all. But I would like to roughtly estimate it's value. I can't tell which one it is in my Blue Book, but maybe it's been homogenized. It was used in a lot of East Coast matches and the fellow won many of them. I have tried to attach 4 photos for any experts out there. I may not have done it right. But I would appreciate any assistance you experts can afford me. Thanks in advance.[/img]

Well, that's definitely a 64 action: the "button", two piece striker style bolt, and black spring steel band to hold the extractors, give it away. Wonder if the bolt handle was swept back by a third party, & might it be in a 54 silhouette stock? No idea of the value, but I think you got a bargain!

It appears to be the 1980's version of the 64 MS R

Pretty much the same except possibly for the magazine.
