Utah wins first national title in team pistol

FORT BENNING, Ga. - The University of Utah won the standard pistol team title Friday at the National Intercollegiate Pistol Championships. [NL] Utes coach Matt DeLong said the program had never won a team championship
since first competing in the national event in 1995. [NL] The Utah team of
Thomas Fairbanks, Nicholas Zachman, David Seelyand Ashley Davis registered a gold-medal winning score of 2,103. Navy won the silver medal with a 2,100 and Army took the bronze with 2,096

Congrats again from North of the border. You guys had a great team and deserved that win! Don't know about all those door prizes though....they picked every number around mine...grrrr...

Anyone able to post or direct to a posting of full individual, team and all-American results for 2006 NRA collegiate pistol nationals? Nice if NRA (as the NGB) would post something, or AMU (as host) or someone/anyone, but nothing up on their sites or on the search engines as yet.

Hard to compete for media attention when the event organizers are so mute.

NRA posted the results of the Free Pistol event in Ft. Benning. These are the results:

Gold Medal - David Bennett (USNA) - scores: 530 - 620.7 w/ (90.7) finals
Silver Medal - Sean Ragay (GWC - California) - scores: 528 - 619.4 w/ (91.4) finals (won by "shoot-off" or "sudden-death")
Bronze Medal - Maxwell Pappas (USMA) - scores: 528 - 619.4 w/ (91.4)finals

4th - Javier Roman (CITADEL) - scores: 531 - 616.4 w/ (85.4) finals
5th - Kyle Nagao (UCI) - scores: 526 - 615.9 w/ (89.9) finals
6th - Seth Berglee (Montana SU) - scores: 526 - 613.3 w/ (87.3) finals
7th - Casey Miller (USMA) - scores: 523 - 613.0 w/ (90.0) finals
8th - Jameson Boscow (USMA) - scores: 524 - 608.3 w/ (84.3) finals
