Biathlon- what big blinders you have

I know the reason why but I find it interesting that in Biathlon they are allowed some very large blinders attached the rifles.

I could not see the reaction when they missed a shot. Very bad for TV (kidding) even though I could watch the entire event.

I was actuall kidding as I am sure you know.

It was funny some did have great reactions when they missed all 5 shots in prone.

Why are you surprised that the blinders are allowed?

I did not say I was surprised. I said I thought it was interesting Bi is the one shooting sport that allows blinders. Bi has such a large following it is not an issue if the person has blinders or not. In other shooting events blinders have been reduced in size so the reaction of the shooter can been seen. I also know how hard it can be to shoot in the snow and see a target.
