10m Air Rifle in Denver

Greetings All.
I just ran across this forum yesterday. Can anyone tell me where I can compete in 10m Air Rifle in the Denver area. I shoot Highpower Service rifle and Rifle Silhouette and would like to get involved in your sport.
I've been shooting a Crossman 2000 in my garage for offhand practice for several years. I assume to be competitive I'll need a better rifle. Do you think an Anschutz 8002 Club model is a good way to go? CMP has them for $1195 including match sights. I also saw an RWS ca100 including match sights and scuba tank for $800 but can't really find any info on this particular rifle.
