Hello! I have a question about using the anschutz rear spirit level, pictured here:

It says that it is not supposed to be in the target picture, which I assume to be the site picture, but also says that the head does not need to be moved to see it. So I am not quite sure how this works. Also, I have lots of riser blocks on (like an inch up) so I put some more on to put the spirit level thing on too. I am not quite sure if this is right, but otherwise I could not see it. I want the site picture to be perfectly round, and if there is something in the way that will be hard to do. I also could use a spirit level out on the end of the rifle, but really like the idea of having this one close so I can adjust it easier. Also, because the front ones have a tendance to be ignored and that people can end up centering the front site and the bubble, and not just the front site.

I use the front sight, bubble level, just like the one on the lower picture on the link in your post. I find it is easier to use as you do not have to get your head out of the position and do not have to change focus to much. Also the bubble outside of the front tunnel does not interfere with the sight picture inside the front sight tunnel. Yes you will see it and the frony tunnel will not be perfectly round, but I find that it is ok since most of it is paquely transparent(the bubble part) anf you can get a good sight picture. After I bought my first one I quickly acquired another for my sights for different positions as I liked it. I would suggest borrowing one from a friend and checking out the sight picture and how it works for you. I picked mine up at the Word Cup in Germany and no vendors even offered the bubble for the rear sight. Perhaps there is something to it.

Both types have their own advantages. Per my opinion the bubble which is mounted on the front-end of the barrel is the best; easier to watch and less focus (your eyes are already focused on the sight). Considering the adjustment when in position; I change my bubble maybe 3 times per year so that's not a huge problem. (I always ask a shooter to help me with ;)).
