Well, it's that time of year when the evil imperialist offspring of european colonialists worship capitalism!
We take this moment to pay homage to the symbol of oppression, the evil SC, who runs a slave labor prison camp in the frozen pristine northern ecological preserve. SC even mistreats animals, using them for transportation! Shame!
Proponents of this holiday attempt to trump it up with some subtle suggestion about spiritual relevance; some claptrap about self sacrifice and a spirit of giving and love for one another as embodied in the worship of the mythical figure JC (connection to SC? Conspiracy!) representing anti-pagan, anti-diversity, judgmentalistic rule-based absolutist morality.
But No!
The Free Peoples of the World in their Proletariat Wisdom recognize that the so-called spiritual dimension is just a thin veneer over the transfer of wealth from The Working Poor to the Industrialist Money-Grubbers enriching themselves by stealing third-world natural and human resources! The Oppressed are duped into exchanging their labor for Conifer Deforestation, over-consuming precious Energy in the wasteful production of ostentatious displays of Consumerism, and contributing to Global Warming by making multiple, unecessary trips to Large Box Retailers who are contributing to Urban Sprawl, forcing out Small Local Retailers, and Imprisoning Indigenous Peoples of Thirld World and Developing Nations. Worse yet, the entire debacle strains our existing diminishing landfill capacity, forcing the destruction of more family farms.
