who is the "go to guy" for replacing a barrel and bedding a 1913 Anschutz.

My plan is to use the factory wood stock. Add Lilja barrel, have rifle bedded(either glass or pillar)

Should the action be threaded or left standard?

Thanks

JJ:

I would have Gene Davis do the work. Rifles he has smithed do very well in the BR-50 game and he did some very nice work on a Remington 40x for me that I use for smallbore prone. Gene may recommend pillar bedding the action. His e-mail address is:

gdavis10@columbus.rr.com

Everything I've read on the subject leads me to strongly advise that a new aftermarket smallbore barrel be threaded on.

Good Luck

I'm very happy with the work Neal Johnsons Gunsmithing did on my daughters rifle.

Others in our club have used 10X and are very happy with their work as well.
