Training

Post by ScottS »

JJJJ remember to write down or make notes of the infromation you received this weekend. Also, start thinking about a training plan, start simple, evaluate your shortcomings and develope methods for improving them.
Shoot straight, Scott

Jay, It was nice to meet you this week at 3X air. I think it is great that you are so enthusiastic about shooting air pistol, and I am quite impressed with your performance at such a high stress match. Mid 560's everyday and after only 6 monthes of shooting----quite nice! Your inquisative nature is a great asset to you. I think if you will reflect upon the "tips" you picked up this week, you are going to tear that 10-ring apart next time around. I hope you get to do some training with those other great guys in Arizona. Good luck, and see you at the next big one. Dwaine.

thank you Top Gun, I certainly learned a lot during those 4 days over there, I already made some modifications to my trigger and I’ll try it out tomorrow. I will continue to practice and hopefully one day I can be Top Gun too, ;-)

yeah! he was screwin' with that damn trigger in the back seat most of the 12-hour drive home, we had to keep reminding him to dry fire holding the gun DOWN on the seat, NOT up in the air, visible thru every window of the truck!

i'm surprised someone didn't call the highway patrol....

but then again, we were driving thru open-carry-legal New Mexico & Arizona :)

Yup, sure does.

I am sorry they did it twice in the same calendar year and so late as well, as that knocked a lot of regulars out for no available time off.
