Question

On the last post i mencioned that there is, a malfunction whit my baikal IZH46M .

i explain that there is air escaping when i close the lever, and one member told me that i should set the trigger valve, does any one knows what dos it means ???

where is located this valve
How do i set it?

From reading the posts I would imagine that it is set automatically when you properly, and firmly, operate the cocking lever.

Ramon,
Warren Potter and I both wrote about setting the trigger valve in answer to your original post. Setting or cocking the trigger valve happens automatically when you fully cycle the cocking lever. The valve we are talking about is inside the frame where the little hole is. When you pull the trigger to fire a pellet, this valve is tripped and lets the compressed air up through the hole into the cover lever (part #57), and then into the breech to expel the pellet. As I wrote, my first experience was the same as yours, but I quickly found that I needed to be more forceful in cocking the gun. There is a photograph in the owners manual that shows how far forward the cocking lever needs to go to cock the gun. If you cannot cock your particular gun then perhaps it really does need adjustment or repair.
