Sighting for Rapid fire events

I use a Walther GSP, and when shootint Rapid fire with the old OSP (Old rules) I used very fine sights. Now, under the new rules, and a pistol with a lot more recoil, should I have bigger sights with a larger gap?

What is the recommended sight configuration? Perhaps some of you top grade shooters can give me some advice, please.
thanks Alex L.

I had always heard and read that you should have wide sights, i.e. moderate foresight and quite open rearsights. I only shoot rapid with air guns (UK) but that is the configuration I prefer. I'll leave the 'advice from top grade shooters' for someone else ;-)

particularly for us older shooters Alex...

Apart from other considerations, the wider rearsight tends to take away the temptation to fire a 'precision' shot and go for the 'area' instead - a good thing for RFP.
