PTO at RBGC in Dawsonville Georgia

Hi,
JP O'Connor and myself held a PTO on Saturday July 23rd at River Bend
Gun Club in Dawsonville Georgia (just a little north of Atlanta) and
it went so well that many of the competitors asked if we would run
the events on a regular basis. As a result, we have added 3 more
dates this year. We are already contemplating a schedule for 2006
(possibly April through November) of monthly outdoor pistol PTO
events.
The Target Pistol Range at River Bend is a beautiful and comfortable
range. Come shoot with us! We run a friendly, relaxing match.
NEW EXPANDED SCHEDULE
River Bend 2005 Outdoor Pistol PTO Competitions (Sanctioned by USAS)
Sat 27 Aug
Sat 24 Sep
Sat 22 Oct
Free Pistol(fired at 50 yards), Standard and Sport/Center (Fired at
25 yards) are at 9:00 am, 12:00 pm, and 1:30 pm, respectively. Rapid
Fire is at 3:00 pm start time. Note that Rapid Fire is offered
subject to target system availability, weather and darkness. We are
running Free Pistol with a 12 minute unlimited sighter time block,
followed by 6 segments of 18 minutes for 10 record shots each.
Competitors will go downrange and score targets after each 10 shots,
just as in all the other events. Score cards and target pasters will
be provided. Competitors are encouraged to bring a small clipboard,
pencils, calculator, stapler, and staples. You may also wish to bring
white and black target pasters for your convenience.
OPEN FEES & COLLEGIATE FEES
Regular entry fees are $15 for the first event entered and $5 for
each additional event entered. Junior and Collegiate entrants do not
participate in the prize pool and pay entry fees of $11 for the first
event entered and $3 for each additional event entered.
