Take a look at target crossbow. The cost for these things makes our free pistols look cheap.

Electronic tiggers, designed for 10 meter or 30 meter target ranges.

Here is one that's on the way to me from Austria making a short stop in Germany.

This is one of the very first crossbows from Winzeler, made in 1949. I need replacement bolts/arrows and a cocking aid. Anybody know services them in US?

Crossbow Prospects in USA

With the current atmosphere in the USA I think the prospects for the target crossbow venue is very poor. It appears to have some popularity in countries with stringent gun laws.

It is not an Olympic sport so it has a couple of strikes against it. The limited interest in international shooting sports in the USA, which have Olympic recognition, makes me think target crossbow may only enjoy very local, limited interest.

I see Australia has tightened up crossbow regs. In some areas, they are forbidden except in organized shooting clubs.
