''Prone to Win: The Art and Science of Smallbore Target Rifle Shooting'': Has anyone here read this book from Chris Fordham ? How does it compare to ''Ways of the rifle'' ? Any info will be appreciated. Thanks !

I have this book in my library. It is pretty good, considering it is focused on the prone events. If that is what a person wants to compete in, then the book is good. I might mention that I do allow access to my library. Contact me at

Wouldn't be so sure. Tried to order one last year and it was cancelled after three months of waiting.

I have read both Prone to win and Ways of Rifle. Prone is a beginner only read. If you really want to learn to shoot the Ways is unbeatable.
