Can you mount a red dot on the Morini CM22M ? And if so, has it been done before and will it work OK.. Thanks Dave

Yes, a red dot can be mounted on the CM 22. Drilling and tapping of the "topstrap" is all it takes. And it works ok. (if the pistol functiones ok then....).

My CM22 has a single mount installed front of the rear sight. It works well and seems to hold zero well. Mine is a steel shroud so its a little heavy with the dot, but like my walther GSP, it hardly moves in the timed and rapid fire stages. I shot a 886 last year with this setup and I am determined to get into the 90's this year. Regards.
