Pardini SPE & SP mags the same?

Just wondering if they are the same or if not, can spe mags be found. Many thanks!

Hi,

Yep, they are different. At least mine are, (very early SPE and last years SP) Mainly the difference appears to be a dimple at the top rear to assist in feeding. I do notice that the new mags are snug in the old frame or is it the other way around?? Can't remember right now. (Make sure they "click" when you put them in, albis will cost you.) They do work fine though.

However, both suffer from being a little too short inside for American ammunition. ('ya figure they could have addressed that after 20 or so years in production....) CCI Std being the one that sticks in my mind and mags.. lol Green tag will work if you keep the mags squeekey clean but it beats the gun up a little. Remington std, when it goes pop fits, but really slams the bolt around. I use Aguila SE for the 50', Eley, SK or RWS for the longer stuff.
