To avoid rust problems in the cylinders it was recommended I bleed the valve. I made a call and was told to fill the cylinder to the desired amount. Then unscrew it 2/3 of the way out and then release the valve on the side of the pump. This will reduce the amount of moisture released into the cylinder.

I have the Hill hand pump, purchased from Pilkington. It's heavy-duty, and of quality. It has the air dryer, as well, which I think is a must-have. I use it to top-off my Walther LG300 cylinder when it gets down to about 100 bars. In round numbers, figure about 1 pump for every bar of pressure on that particular rifle. Effort required is moderate, but no big deal. Like others have said, use your body weight to your advantage. For my personal use, I see no reason whatsoever to drag a SCBA tank around.
