Given we are in same .. page I am declaring FWB P8X is the winner Pistol on mechanical trigger and Morini 200 CM EI on Electronic.
Let the debate start.

Given that the STEYR has had the same trigger components for over 30 years, (yes the LP1 , LP10 and EVO all share the same parts) and in those 30 years STEYR has won more Olympic medals, more world championships medals and more World Cup than all the other manufacturers combined, I’m guessing that STEYR has a pretty good trigger
Just saying.

And I bet all the top manufacturers know exactly how the opposition's gear works s I bet they buy them secretly and pull them apart to see if their product is superior or inferior and make adjustments if necessary.
There won't be a bad gun new on the market..

Any "new" gun is suspect until proven otherwise. A design is only as good as the manufacturing process and the post sales support. Poor materials, improper heat treating, sloppy machining, or poor quality control can all ruin the best design in the world. When things wear, or get out of adjustment, how easy is to get parts and get it repaired?

Steyr not only has a very long track record with a proven design, but they don't keep tinkering with it and changing everything so you can''t get parts for your older pistol. They also provide videos so a lot of shooters can do basic maintenance themselves.

I assume that you are only talking about the mechanical trigger here? The one that Wimmer and Foroughi have used to excellent final results this year. I thought I was missing out by not having electronic, but have had enough good strings myself to realize the fault is between my ears on failures.

Of course.. one must disassociate oneself from oneself .. that is the crux of shooting ( meditation ).
