Hi Cranky,

Just a quick response to your question regarding smallbore use with the InBand EST System: the unit has an optional face plate designed specifically for its ability to take a lead target style .22lr projectile. The current system is designed with rifle shooters in mind though, so the opening is rather small, i.e. not large enough for pistol targets.

The GREAT news is, we are working on the finishing stages of a pistol-specific smallbore frame with the same accurate, simple, and reliable internals. The Bluetooth connectivity means it will be wireless at up to 50m for Free Pistol shooters (huzzah!), as well as 25m shooters of Standard and Rapidfire disciplines (with an option red/green target light system). Even better, I am looking into having 50’ conventional targets, as well as 25 & 50 yard conventional targets included for the U.S. market. I am a Free Pistol enthusiast myself, but I also enjoy getting the old High Standard out of the safe and dialing the Ultra Dot up a few notches from time to time.

I’ll be posting some info on the testing results after I get the beta unit in from the land of Karelian pasties and curdled milk ... Stay tuned!

Are there public available tests on the inband precision? Or has any of you owners already made a test? I need to know if it is good to the decimal point on an ISSF rifle 10 m target... (0.25 mm)
