When I say a lot, it's compared to an LP10. Don't compare to it to any cartridge gun.
And yes, it moves even with the single pellet magazine.

This are just some of the reasons why you don't see them at major championships:
1- They are more expensive than a single shot gun (LP50 vs LP10)
2- More complex = less reliable (although they are quite reliable)
3- They use much more air. About 80-90 shots per cylinder compared to 130-140 on a single shot with the same length cylinder (LP50 vs LP10)
4- They don't have an absorber. They jump a bit.
5- They have a shorter sight length
6- You can only load them with one pellet. Defeats the whole purpose of a semi auto pistol.

They are great guns, and very capable of high scores, but at an international level a single shot doesn't have any of those drawbacks.

As shown in the link in my last post, although the ISSF have dropped the old "8.20" events, they have kept them alive in the Sport For All program. Hopefully it will encourage the next generation of shooters to try some formal shooting. We live in hope anyway.
