I'm around 1000 and no jams, I had 2 fail to eject (fully) on my SSP. Earlier this year prior to March when I got my SSP I had 2 malfunctions in my GSP (1 failed to eject and 1 failed to feed). Failure rate is about the same for me, but the SSP shoots way better, the trigger is worlds away from the GSP, the sights are better and the recoil system is better than that of the Expert.

I agree with this. I was shooting a GSP expert before moving to a CM22M RF. The GSP is a good reliable pistol but it is now obsolete compared to more modern pistols like my CM22M RF, Pardini, SSP, MG2...
I would say that buying a used GSP for a good price makes sense for people who do not want to spend too much for a match .22 pistol. Buying a new GSP expert, which cost about the same price a the above mentionned modern pistols, seems to me a bad idea.
I think that the main cause of jam with the SSP is loading the bullets in the dual stack magasine: if it is done properly, it will work fine, if not jam may occur.
Another point to know is that the SSP is more difficult to dismount for cleaning than a Morini or Pardini (it is feasible, but need more time/care).
