They must not. The seller is obliged to deliver fault-free merchandise (and so was the producer obliged towards the retail seller).

I use CCI Green Tag and I have been very happy with the accuracy and the reliability. I have had no misfires or jams with it in my MG2, Walther GSP Expert or my High Standard Supermatic Trophy Military.

I will say I would avoid using Winchester T-22 ammo in an MG2 since T-22 in the last lot I had was not consistent enough on the quality control (i.e. bullets were bent up at an angle from the casing when I pulled them from the box.)
