Given that your eyes will change +/- 1/8th dioptre during the day, this process has a lot going for it. I wondered how long it would be before it appeared for shooting applications.

However, at US$700 that's pricey for something that was originally developed to be a solution to providing low-cost prescription lenses for third-world countries

Lets all hope for a knock off real soon, with better looking models, if it is not asking too much.

There is a shooting section on their site, so they know shooters could use a pair.
