Unique

Post by Tony M. »

Well, I'm now awaiting delivery of a DES 32-U.

I imagine I'll be using the gun for informal paper punching, and little else.

I know parts can be a problem, but thankfully I have access to a machine shop.

Congratulations on your DES/32U. There are still a few deals posted at the various auction sites sometimes for parts but mostly for the complete target pistol. Hope you enjoy it and thanks for adding to the "Unique" thread.

Unique

I have a late model DES69U that I just love,it came with a red dot mount, extra firing pins, extractors and a few more parts as well as the original sights,it also came with a nice set of custom grips made by Les Bowler,as well as three other set of grips that were modified for the previous owner. The only thing I am missing is the barrel weight, would love to track one down so I could shoot the irons as well.

Well, when the pistol came in, it was missing the extractor, and was partially disassembled. It took several months, but I tracked down an extractor, spare firing pins, and various other small spare parts. Once I have a few spare extractors made up using this one as a pattern, I should be able to start shooting the gun!

Was a pain even telephoning and email them. But finally extract this
info. Parts are built to order, takes a month or so.

Had to tweak my two to work well. Expected from a second source...
