IZH 46M Grip problem

Hello guys I have problem with original 46M grips.The grips have lost their original color due to sweat n high humidity,some fungus growth was there.I had kept them in sunlight which took care of the fungus but the grips have turned almost gray in color.How to restore original color n prevent such thing in future.
