I compared two AW93's at our guns show on the weekend.
The two Aw93s at a display had different thicknesses on their palm shelf.
The thicker one had a larger "hump" which would solve my dilema without having to purchase an entire grip.
Otherwise I will just have to start moulding with some car body putty.

PS The gun is for my 13 year old daughetr. My hand fits...just....when the shelf is at its lowest.

Have a look on the bottom of the grip Scott...it should have S M or L stamped into the wood. If its a large "L" grip, then the circumfrence of the grip itself may also be too large for your daughter. Sometimes its worth buying the correct size....but they are horrendously expensive I know.
