Matchguns and Morini, any major difference?

In 2000, I've seen a prototype of a SAM SP that looked vaguely like the MG2, except that it had a conventional mag. Apparently, a 2nd stage exists, with a tube mag, a friend of mine told me that he had seen it in Lugano. I'd be surprised if that wasn't so, I'd expect every designer to have different projects around in different development stages. And I'd be even more surprised if something like the MG2 just came out of the hat so shortly after Cesare switched to Matchguns. So I find it very plausible that the early studies for the MG2 would have been made while he was at SAM. SAM is still in business, btw, I just bought some parts from them.

And I have seen an early Morini with a tube type magazine and a bull barrell. He's toyed with the concept for a while.

That was probably the 102E from the mid '80s.

What happened to our Guest, and their insight in the problems of the current MG2? Seems people are quick to criticise but can’t substantiate their concerns. The worst thing, our Guest may have to valuable insight, but if they are unwilling to share it with us, it undermines their credibility.

I’m all for discourse, but it concerns me when people make claims and spout rhetoric without substance.
