Hi folks,
for some reason my scatt is not picking up the shots. It is not registering the dry fire "click". It is not picking it up in setup screen either.
I have tried the cables they look good.
I have played with the sensitivity values.
I have also tried reinstalling the scatt sw and drivers and of course the good old windows reboot.
At this point I am thinking it might be hw, but I do not want ot jump to any conclusions.
Drop me a not if you have any suggestions.
Thanks

Scatt trouble
Asmir, How is it going?
Is the sensor picking up the signal from the target and drawing the trace on the computer monitor?
Is the sensor mounted directly (and solidly) to the barrel or cylinder?
Does the rifle make a strong sonund for a click or is it weak?
On the calibration screen there is a sensitivity adjustment. You can change the slider bar to increase the sensitivity of the microphone in the sensor to pick up faint clicks. move it up about 5 % at a time until it works reliably.
There are other potential problems and solutions.

Hey Marcus,
all is well here. Hope to see you up here sometime before the white stuff arrives.
OK it is fixed. I think that the root cause was the sensitivity. I did a windows restore and it started picking up some some clicks, then I played with the sensitivity and it is back to operational.
As a bonus somehow within all the mess I finally got rid of the Artem's entries, which I had tried to remove without much success before.
Rob, Marcus, your help is much appreciated.
