Is Scotch tape legal on glasses?

Post by Joe58 »

Subject line pretty much asks my question.

Is it ok to put small piece of scotch tape on the non shooting eye lens of my prescription glasses when shooting?

I prefer to do this rather than go with the clip on kind since I find the clip itself is rather large and bothers me, as it touches my forehead. My glasses sit rather close to my face I guess.

So I use a very small piece of scotch tape on the lens itself to block my left eye while shooting.

Is this ok?

Thanks! Joe
