Can anyone describe how to remove the electronics from the grip? The procedure is not mentioned in the manual.

Many thanks in advance

Remove the plate from the bottom of the grip. Remove the battery by pulling down and out. Remove the electronic circuit board by pulling down. Before reinstalling, attach a loop of string to the battery terminals to allow for easier removal of the circuit board in the future.

I basically want to remove everything from within the grip cavity so that I can have a new grip made according to my hands. Will the method you described enable me to do this?

Thanks for you help
