Photos on equipment & positions?

Post by JeroenH »

(On behalf of my son, who is working on a school project on shooting sports: )

Would you know some nice pictures on there on the internet that give a good impression on the equipment we use and the way we use it? I'm looking for stuff that expresses SPORTS as the main message - not 'weapons'.

I did some Googling and so no but this did not realy help. Plenty of poor-quality pics just showing a rifle or pistol, but that's no good.
I hope you can help us out here...

Regards
Jeroen

The Federation Francais de Tir has some good photos at http://www.fftir.asso.fr/index.php?champ_id=521

The photos from each day are very good.

Photos of pistol shooting as sport

You might check out http://www.pistolcanada.ca/
Look under the menu heading "Galleries", then "Pictures 2007", for photos of pistol shooting in ISSF competition (air, free, standard, rapid fire, centre fire, also NRA Conventional Pistol) - the whole shooting match.

You can also try looking at photos on Facebook. NCAA Rifle has a "group" on there with plenty of photos of individual collegiate shooters, the championships at Alaska Fairbanks, etc.
