MEC Contact III Buttplate

Does anyone have any experience with this buttplate and can give me
their impressions?

I have an Anschutz 1907 and was wondering how you would mount this
buttplate on my gun. Does it go on like the Anschutz buttplate with the
columns that go down in the stock or does it like screw into the end of the stock?

I think it is much better than the standard buttplate. I have it on the 2002 CA, and depending upon the age of your 1907, it should be the same buttplate assembly. It fits on the carrier with no modification.
